NeoCons

NeoCon is the short form for NeoConservative, a term coined by Irving Kristol and used as the title of his book.  The political philosophy is predicated on the work of Leo Strauss, who taught at the University of Chicago.  ( Wikipedia)   Straussian 'philosophy' is an amalgamation of debunked justifications for lying, cheating and stealing to seize power, if of course, you are intended by destiny to succeed.  The circularity of it has especial appeal to individuals emotionally frozen in an extended adolescence, which characterized NeoCons.

While the focus has been on individuals such as the Kristols and the Bush Administration as representing the whole of the cadre we know as 'neocon,' it is arguably more important to understand these most visible individuals employed a significant number within journalism, think tanks, and academia to promulgate neoconservativism or its derivatives as authentic, ideologically based viewpoints, fictions lavishly promoted by those who stood to profit in the billions and trillions.

The use of idea sets, philosophies, used to justify actions that otherwise violate the tenets of America's Declaration of Independence and the Constitution as written, is the approach adopted by the corporate interests at the time of the Civil War.

We will identify individuals who are employed by 'the neocons' with the reasons they should be so identified. We leave it to the Democrats to identify the same elements within their own ranks. Let's see if they have the intestinal fortitude to do so.

See Articles page for more on the neocons.
